The QMedRx clinical team of pharmacists, nurses, pharmacy technicians and all support staff have years of experience managing patients in the comfort of their own home. QMedRx Infusion Nurses
QMedRx Nurses help patients become comfortable when receiving IV therapy at home. QMedRx nurses assess each patient's individual needs helping them carry out the Doctor's care plan. QMedRx nurses are specially trained to teach you and or your caregiver about your therapy and how to monitor your progress. In the event of questions or emergencies, the nurses can be reached 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
QMedRx Registered Pharmacists
The QMedRx Registered Pharmacists will communicate with your doctor to discuss your specific needs, drug selection issues, and drug delivery systems. The pharmacists are experienced in caring for the patient with Lyme Disease. The pharmacist oversees the pharmacy technicians who will compound your medication in our state of the art Class 100 clean room. Our cleanroom is specially designed to promote a sterile environment. Few other pharmacies have made the commitment to creating this level of hi-tech clean room environment. The pharmacist has daily contact with your Case Manager/Nurse and monitors your medication therapy for effectiveness and potential side effects. Should you have pharmacy questions, your pharmacist is always available.
 QMedRx Patient Case Manager/Nurse
A QMedRx Case Manager/Nurse speaks with each individual patient, they explain, advise and help the patient order supplies. They find answers to patient questions. A QMedRx Case Manager/Nurse coordinates therapy related deliveries of supplies and medications along with nursing visits. A QMedRx Patient Case Manager/Nurse speaks with each individual patient to make sure they have everything they need for the very best outcome possible.
QMedRx Reimbursement Specialists
QMedRx Reimbursement Specialist are full-time patient advocates adept at negotiating the challenges of claim approval from third party payors. They explain and help you through the insurance process. They are available throughout your care to answer any questions regarding insurance claims or bills. As patient advocates, they initiate and follow through with the entire appeals process for initial therapy and extended therapy (beyond 30 days) on behalf of the patient.
QMedRx Pharmacy Technicians
QMedRx Certified Pharmacy Technicians work along side the QMedRx Registered Pharmacists and are responsible for putting together patient supply orders. Patient supplies are shipped by common carrier such as FedEx, UPS, DHL or USPS. All QMedRx team members work hand in hand to make sure the patient gets the very best service possible.
The QMedRx Lyme Advisory Scientific Medical Committee
The QMedRx Clinical Staff and Medical Advisory Committee have prepared a web based patient outcome questionnaire. Our goal is to help your physician maximize your response to treatment, make data easier for you to document and easier for your physician to retrieve.
